What low, middle, and high values change
The range describes tradeoffs. It does not grade your aim.
Below 200
You move the mouse farther for the same turn. That can help with small corrections but demands more usable desk space.
200 to 400
This broad band gives a practical set of test points. Comfort, control, and available space still decide what stays.
Above 400
You can turn with less travel. Test whether quick movement comes at the cost of corrections you can repeat.
Test one change at a time
Pick a target, play a short session in The Range or Deathmatch, and adjust in small steps. Scoped and cross-game settings are separate tasks.
