How to Use the Valorant eDPI Calculator

1

Check Your Current Settings

Launch Valorant and check your Mouse DPI (in your mouse driver software) and In-Game Sensitivity (Settings > General > Sensitivity).

2

Enter Your Values

Input your DPI and Valorant sensitivity into the calculator above. The eDPI updates instantly as you type.

3

Compare with Pro Range

Check how your eDPI compares to Valorant pros. Most use 200-400 eDPI. The calculator shows your tier and compares with top players.

4

Test in Practice Mode

Try your settings in the Valorant Range or Deathmatch. Fine-tune by adjusting sensitivity in small steps (±0.05) and give each setting at least a few days before changing.

Valorant eDPI Calculator FAQ

What is a good eDPI for Valorant?

Most Valorant professional players use between 200-400 eDPI. This range provides excellent precision for headshots while maintaining enough mobility for quick reactions. The recommended range for most players is 200-600 eDPI, but your ideal setting depends on your playstyle, mousepad size, and personal comfort.

Should I copy TenZ or other pros' sensitivity?

No, you should not directly copy pro settings. Professional players like TenZ have different hardware, mousepad sizes, arm positions, and years of muscle memory built around their settings. Use pro eDPI ranges as a reference point (most are 200-400 eDPI), then find what works best for you through practice and gradual adjustments.

Why does my eDPI feel different from CS2/CS:GO?

While Valorant and CS2 both use the eDPI formula (DPI × Sensitivity), Valorant has different movement mechanics, abilities that require quick camera movements, and a slightly different sensitivity scaling. The games also have different visual feedback and character models, which can make the same eDPI feel different. It's normal to prefer slightly different eDPI values between games.

Do I need different eDPI for different agents or roles?

Most pros maintain the same eDPI across all agents to build consistent muscle memory. However, some players might prefer slightly lower eDPI for precise agents like Chamber or Jett (requiring accurate shots) and slightly higher for entry fraggers. The difference is usually minimal – consistency is more important than per-agent optimization.

What if my Valorant eDPI is very high or very low?

If your eDPI is outside the 200-600 range but feels comfortable, that's okay. Some successful players use settings outside typical ranges. However, extremely high eDPI (1000+) makes micro-adjustments difficult, while extremely low eDPI (<150) requires a very large mousepad and can limit mobility. If you're struggling with aim consistency, try gradually moving toward the 250-400 range over several days.
